Clearly in the beginning stages, these are experiments with the effects of different splashes interacting with photos I had taken.
EXERCISE THREE: PHOTOSHOP
EXERCISE THREE: PHOTOSHOOT
Bre Della Corna Modeled for me so that I could have a variety of shots to work with. Some included real milk being poured on her head, and others were taken with the intention of imposing splashes of milk later.
EXERCISE THREE: STOREFRONT IDEATION
We needed to find a brand we wanted to design and build a model store front for.
Here is the link to the site that inspired my storefront: http://www.gmreverie.com/
EXERCISE TWO: MUSEUM AUDIT (MIM)
Observational photos of the Musical Instrument Museum (MIM)
EXERCISE TWO: STORE AUDIT (MACY'S)

EXERCISE TWO: STORE AUDIT (SAKS 5th AVE)
Observational photos of one out of two storefronts.
EXERCISE ONE: FINAL
Close-ups of the Final Model, and the final layout of the drawings
EXERCISE ONE: BUILDING THE MODEL
Finally, it was time to bring the drawings to life. I created a pattern for my pyramid, and with the help of a friend (Thanks, Hunt) a template for the all of the shapes.
Materials
- foam-core
- cardstock
- spray paint
- tacky glue
EXERCISE ONE: DIGITAL DRAWINGS
Once the hand drawings were finished, it was time to put them in the computer to be printed.
EXERCISE ONE: DIFFERENT VIEWS
After deciding which layout we were happiest with, it was time to draw the plan view, the elevation view, the side view, and the isometric view.
EXERCISE ONE: SKETCHES
Given the dimensions to follow, we were tasked with the duty of arranging four objects in a half-inch scale model, beginning with the drawings of the arrangements.
